Mission Statement

Purpose: To return to the lifestyle God intended for us allowing us to live life in all its fullness (John 10:10).

Mission: To provide a peaceful, mountain atmosphere where one can escape from the world's pressure and find God. To help educate young and old in developing a sense of God’s presence and leading in their lives according to His Word. To facilitate a closer relationship with God and family through healthy lifestyle changes.

The primary mission of the New Beginnings Ranch is to find God (a “new beginning” with Him); new beginnings in seeing Him as the loving Creator of the world, worthy of our love and affection; and new beginnings in walking with Him and experiencing first hand His love and power in our lives. As God is an integral part of every area of our lives, the practical application of His love in those areas will be accomplished through the following programs/activities: 1) weekend camp-meetings to engage families in improved familial relationships, 2) International Rescue and Relief student training in mountain rescue and wilderness survival (giving new beginnings to those ravaged by disaster or circumstance), 3) instructing individuals and groups in methods of achieving healthy lifestyles, 4) demonstrating methods of protecting the environment, 5) assisting in and teaching techniques of biblical conflict resolution in the home and marketplace, and 6) training college students and young adults to be facilitators for change in Christian churches and families.

Philosophy: A living, personal relationship with Christ is the most important pursuit in any person’s life. Christ created the world and man for a relationship with him. Christ then came to show us the Father and His love in His first advent so that we can have a full life in a close, continual relationship with Him. Christ is coming back to receive those who want that close relationship. There will be an uninterrupted, harmonious relationship with Him for the saved throughout eternity. Christ made it evident that it is safe to have a personal relationship with Him and the Father. Our goal should be to live in perfect harmony with God’s laws of love ~ love for God and love for man. Unfortunately we are innately sinful and have no inner capacity to follow Him. Christ came to reconcile us to heaven and to save us from our sins. Christ also wants to give us His presence and power to overcome present temptations and problems. Only when we remain connected to Christ and His strength can we fully live up to our potential spiritually and in all other parts of our lives.

A part of living the successful Christian life is developing a listening ear to hear His Spirit. “When every other voice is quiet, when the world and all its pressures are left behind, the silence on our soul allows us to hear the voice of God.” Through this vital connection with Christ, He empowers us to live each day to the fullest, treating others with His selfless love.
